Adult dogs or Rescue dogs
With adult or rescue dogs that have missed basic training; we advise to start with a 1-2-1 which takes approximately one hour in which we go through with you the main areas you would like us to help you and your dog with. This allows us to assess your dogs suitability for class and for what level and type of class your dog should enter.

Health & Safety in the Training Arena
These guidelines are for you and your dog’s safety, some dogs may find training classes to be initially a little stressful, others find it all too much and can become very excited. The trainers will help you and your dog to overcome any potential problems but it will help keep everyone safe if you follow the guidelines below.
• Please wear suitable flat shoes or boots when working with your dog in the training arena and remember you will need poo bags, dog food treats and a toy, a flat collar and lead (not a flexi-lead or slip lead).
• Please avoid throwing balls or other dog toys to your dog in the training arena unless asked to do so by your trainer.
• Please do not let your dog off the lead at any time unless asked to do so by your trainer.
• Please do not let your dog engage in play with the other dogs in the arena unless under guidance from the trainer.
• We welcome children but they must be accompanied by their parents or guardian and under their supervision at all times and this should not be the same person who is handling the dog during the class. Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that children do not run around the arena during training periods, nor should they attempt to stroke or play with another handler’s dog.
• Please do not leave your dog unattended, if you have to leave the arena please ask the trainer to look after your dog until your return.
• If you feel ill or are injured please let the trainer know and they will take you to a rest area – there are Human and Canine First Aid Kits available.
It is the owner or handler of the dog responsibility to ensure their dog is on lead (except when asked to remove the lead by the trainer) and under their control at all times. We accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage caused by poor supervision.
